Used to plan every single day on my weekly spread until I missed two dentist appointments in a row

Now I just jot down the next three days at a time in pencil because my contractor brain realized schedules change faster than mortar dries and that's saved me a ton of erasing, anyone else find daily planning works better than weekly?

Wait hold on, I have to push back on that because planning daily has been an absolute disaster for me lmao. I'd constantly miss the bigger picture stuff like when bills are due or when my friend's birthday party is because I'm just zoomed in on today and tomorrow. Weekly spreads let me see the whole week at a glance so I can spot conflicts early, like "oh wait I can't go to the gym on Wednesday because that's also the day I promised to help my sister move." Also erasing is not that big of a deal if you use a half decent pen and write lightly, plus the act of rewriting stuff helps it actually stick in my brain.

Exactly. This whole thing is just part of a bigger pattern where people try to force one method on everyone. We see it with diet plans, workout routines, even how people organize their closets. Everyone's brain works different. Some people need the big picture to not miss anything, others need to focus on the tiny details or they drown. The thing is, what works for you might totally wreck someone else's week. It's not about who's right, it's about finding what actually fits how you think. That's why I hate when people act like their way is the only way.

Yeah, daily planning feels way more realistic honestly.
