Vent: My packed habit tracker was ruining my bullet journal flow
I had a tracker with way too many boxes to check each day, so I just left it blank. I changed it to only track my morning pages, water intake, and if I took a walk. Now I actually fill it out every single day and feel way more on top of things. It's a small win but seeing all those checks marks is super motivating.

Have you thought about why the packed tracker messed up your flow? It's not just about keeping it simple, but about choosing habits that really matter to you. If you track too much, it feels like work, but if you track too little, you might skip key things. The real goal is to find a middle ground, not just cut down on boxes. Be sure those three habits are what you care about, or you'll just keep tweaking it.

That's the key, keeping it stupid simple so you actually do it.

Totally, overcomplicating it is the killer. I tried tracking like seven things at once and just gave up after two days, lol. Sticking to three basic ones I can actually remember is what finally worked for me.

I always thought more tracking meant more progress, but your post changed my mind. Seeing those check marks really does help, like you said. I used to fill my journal with crap I never checked, now I get why simple works. Cameron_hernandez69 is right about keeping it stupid simple, otherwise it's just busywork. Cutting down to what matters actually makes you do it.
