Warning: That coffee shop bullet journal meetup was a mess

I went to this new coffee shop downtown last Saturday for a bullet journal meetup I saw on Instagram. The place was packed and loud, like really loud, with blenders going off every 2 minutes. I couldn't even hear the person next to me talking about their habit tracker layout. They had these tiny wobbly tables too, so my journal almost slid off twice. Has anyone else run into a bad venue for group journaling?

Nah I gotta disagree here lol. Coffee shops always have some background noise but thats part of the cozy vibe for me, helps me focus on my spreads without overthinking. Maybe try a spot in the corner next time or hit it up during a slower hour.

Oh totally agree with you here! I'm the same way honestly, a little background chatter just makes the whole thing feel lived in and keeps me from getting in my own head. @david_reed22 you gotta try that corner spot at 7am too, it's the perfect sweet spot before the real crowd rolls in.

I actually totally disagreed with that take for years man but you might be onto something lol. I tried the corner spot at like 7am last week and it was way better than I expected.
