Watched my daily spread go from 6 lines to 2 pages in 4 months, and it's all because of one pen
Switched from a ballpoint to a 0.38 gel pen back in March and suddenly I'm writing full sentences instead of cryptic shorthand, which sounds great until you realize I now spend 20 minutes a night journaling stuff I could've tracked in 30 seconds, so has anyone else had a pen change wreck their whole system?
A 0.38 gel pen is just doing what a pen should do, the ballpoint was the problem all along. If switching pens made you write more, that's you finally having a tool that doesn't fight back, not some trap you fell into. Sounds like the real issue is you never actually needed your old system in the first place.
