A reddit comment about my apology post made me add a specific timeline to my statement
They pointed out that my vague 'I take responsibility' line sounded like every canned celeb apology, so I rewrote it with exact dates and receipts of what I actually did to fix the mess, and that got way more traction than the original ever did, has anyone else gotten pointed feedback that completely reshaped how you publicly own up to stuff?

Whoa, exact dates and receipts? That's wild you actually did that. Most people would just get offended and double down when someone calls their apology fake. Putting your real timeline out there with proof is gutsy, I can't say I've ever seen someone do that in a public statement and not completely botch it.
