Bought a $250 'forgiveness coaching' call and all I got was a script I could've googled

After defending a canceled YouTuber in the comments, a coach DM'd me promising insider PR tactics, but the 45 minute call was just her reading bullet points about 'timing your statement' and 'showing remorse' which felt super fake, has anyone else paid for this kind of advice and regretted it?

Feel for you on this one. Getting hit with a sales pitch dressed up as advice is the worst, especially when they act like they're doing you a favor. That "show remorse" angle is classic textbook stuff, zero actual thought about your specific mess. Sounds like you paid for her to read a blog post back to you. At least you know now to ask for a rough outline or a free intro call before handing over that kind of cash.
