I paid $75 for a 'sincere apology' video script from a PR firm

A local musician I liked got caught saying some really gross stuff in old tweets, and his team put out this three minute apology video that felt super genuine (I actually teared up). I found out later he hired a firm that sells pre written apology templates, and the specific 'heartfelt artist redemption' package costs exactly $75. Does a price tag on regret make the whole thing fake, or does wanting to say the right thing still count for something?

Makes you wonder what else is on that menu. Bet there's a budget "oops my bad" for minor scandals and a premium "family values" bundle for when you get caught cheating. The whole thing feels like buying a greeting card, but for when you ruin your career. Honestly, if the script was good enough to make people feel something, maybe the real skill is just acting.

Wait, they have a whole menu for this stuff? A "heartfelt artist redemption" package, that's wild lol. Honestly the fact it was only seventy five bucks makes it feel even cheaper somehow. Like if you're gonna buy a fake apology at least make it a fancy one, you know?

Right? Who's even buying these?

But is it even worth getting mad about? Feels like a weird thing to sell but who cares.
