My 300th canceled client finally forced me to see a pattern
I do background checks for a talent agency in Austin, so I see a lot of public figures blow up and then come crawling back with statements. Last week I logged my 300th case where someone got dropped from a campaign or show. The shocker was that 240 of them used the exact same phrase in their first apology, something like "I take full responsibility." I started tracking it after case 50 and it held steady. That number made me realize most apologies are just boilerplate PR, not real remorse. Has anyone else noticed a specific tell that shows up way more often than it should?
