That chef's apology felt scripted until I saw the donation receipt

Everyone's calling for forgiveness after his video, but I found the actual 501(c)(3) filing from last month and it shows a 12k transfer to a food bank. The donation predates the scandal by 3 weeks. Doesn't that prove he was already trying to make amends before he got caught? Would you accept that as genuine or is it just damage control that backfired chronologically?

Ugh, honestly I read that the other way. If he was already quietly donating before the heat came down, that kind of proves he only does good when no one's watching, and that's way easier to fake than a last minute panic donation.
