I tracked a fitness influencer who posted something awful in 2020, then went silent. Only after 9 months and losing 30k followers did she drop a 2 minute video with zero specifics. That isn't a real apology, that's a business move. We keep treating these timed statements as genuine because they mention 'growth', but the actual act of change never happened.
