Appreciation post: my pour over disaster at the park
I was trying to make a pour over at the park last weekend and a gust of wind blew my whole setup over... grounds and hot water everywhere. I ended up using a paper towel to clean my dripper and just made a really strong cup with the last bit of water I had left. Has anyone else had a brew go totally wrong outside and how did you fix it?

Wait, you cleaned it with a paper towel and still drank it? That's some real dedication. I'm with @stone.daniel, a spill like that can ruin your whole vibe. At least you got a strong cup out of the mess.

Honestly, that exact thing happened to me last Tuesday and it ruined my whole week.

Dude yes! Same thing happened to me like two weeks ago. I spilled half my mug right on my desk in the middle of a MS Teams call, just sat there in silence while the coffee soaked into all my papers. Ruined the whole meeting vibe and I couldn't even focus on what anyone was saying after that. Then I had to spend my lunch break cleaning coffee out of my keyboard with a q-tip. Worst Tuesday I've had in months.
