Cold brew used to be a whole day thing for me, now it's 10 minutes
I used to do the 18 hour steep in a big mason jar, then strain it through two layers of cheesecloth and still end up with sludge at the bottom. That took forever and the cleanup was brutal with three kids running around. About 6 weeks ago I switched to a Japanese cold brew tower that drips over ice, takes about 4 minutes for a pint. The flavor is brighter and I don't have to plan my morning the night before. Anyone else switch methods and never look back?
