The crema difference after switching water filters is wild

Ngl, I swapped to a $25 Brita filter last month and my espresso went from thin and sour to thick and sweet overnight. I thought my beans were the problem for 6 months, turns out our tap water here in Austin was the culprit. Has anyone else seen that kind of before and after just from water?
