Am I the only one who had a week of perfect haircuts followed by total disasters?

Last Monday I had three clients in a row where everything clicked - their layers fell perfect, the color blended smooth, and they all tipped like $20 each. I was feeling like a genius. Then Tuesday hit and I messed up a balayage on a regular of 2 years - she asked for 'soft caramel' and it came out looking like brass. By Thursday I had a bleach burn on a scalp that I've never done before. Has anyone else had that wild swing where one day you're on top and the next you can't do anything right? What do you do to reset after a bad run?

Check your foiling placement too. I thought it was all me but realized I was angling my foils wrong on those bad days and messing up the saturation.

Have you checked in on when that bad streak really gets to you how your sleep or diet has been? I know it sounds stupid but I notice my worst days always come after I skimped on sleep or ate like garbage the day before. My hands get shaky and my color mixing gets all wacky. Last time I had a three day disaster string I realized I was chugging energy drinks and working through my lunch. Maybe look at the stuff outside the chair before you blame your skills.

3 energy drinks a day was my tipping point too... did you notice if cutting back helped the shaky hands or did it take a few days to feel steady again? I've heard caffeine crashes mess with fine motor control worse than being tired.
