Hit 100 repeat clients this month and I'm still shocked
I've been doing hair for about 4 years now. Started out in a small salon downtown. I never kept track of numbers until last week when I was checking my booking app. Turns out I had 102 people who came back to me at least twice this year. That feels huge. I still remember my first client who told me I cut her bangs crooked. Now I have a waiting list on Saturdays. Has anyone else hit a milestone that snuck up on them?

I actually read something the other day about how small businesses in service industries don't realize their real value until they look back at the numbers... a study said repeat clients are way more important than new ones because they spend more and tell their friends. 102 is impressive because it means you've built actual trust, not just convenience. That crooked bangs story makes it even better honestly - shows how far you've come. Those Saturday appointments being booked out is a good sign people specifically want you, not just any stylist.

Uhh congrats I guess? lol. 100 repeat clients in a year sounds cool but like isn't that just people needing haircuts again? They probably just found you convenient or you're near their work or something. I wouldn't read too much into it. The waiting list on Saturdays is probably more about everyone wanting weekend appointments than anything special about you. But hey, if it makes you feel good, go off I guess.

The crooked bangs story is exactly why I tell new stylists to keep their early mistakes handy for perspective.
