Hit 500 consistent clients this month and it honestly freaked me out
Tbh I never thought I'd get past 300 regulars, but after 3 years of building trust and referrals, here we are. How do you all manage retention without burning out?

I read somewhere that the key to managing that many regulars is keeping a quick profile for each one in a notes app, not just in your head. "Egg roulette" is a good way to put it, that guessing game gets old fast. I follow a guy on YouTube who runs a breakfast spot and he swears by color-coding orders on the ticket, like a blue highlighter for a regular who always changes their mind. Saves you from that awkward "was it soft or medium" panic mid-rush. Might be worth a try since relying on memory alone is a gamble with 500 clients.

500 clients and you're not burnt out yet? Man, I think I'd lose my mind trying to keep track of that many coffee orders. Props to you though, that's wild.

Honestly, the "keeping track of coffee orders" part is the least of my worries, it's more like I've got 500 different ways people want their eggs scrambled. I've got a mental filing cabinet for all of them, but sometimes a client will switch it up and I just smile and nod while frantically trying to remember if they said "soft" or "medium" last time. Most of the time I just guess and hope they don't send it back, which feels like playing egg roulette on a busy morning. Have you ever had to fake your way through a breakfast rush like that?
