I switched from a regular razor to a straight razor for neckline cleanup
I mean, the difference is crazy. The straight razor just gets a cleaner line, especially on those tough neck hairs. Has anyone else tried this, or do you stick with your clippers?

Oh man, the straight razor... that's a whole different level of commitment. I tried it once and nearly gave myself a new smile line, if you know what I mean. I'm sticking with the clippers, my hands are way too shaky for that kind of blade work before coffee. It's a great look if you can pull it off without needing a blood donation afterwards.

Totally get where you're coming from. I had a similar scare the first time I tried it, and I feel for @marybutler. My neckline looked great, but my hands were sweating the whole time. I still use mine, but only on weekends when I'm wide awake and moving slow.

Honestly the real game changer is the shaving soap and brush setup you need for a straight razor. That prep makes any blade work better, even if you go back to a safety razor like @marybutler. The lather softens the hair so much it's like cutting butter. A lot of people buy the fancy blade but skip the good soap, which is a mistake. You get a closer shave with less risk of nicks because the hair isn't fighting back.
