I thought those scalp scrubbers were just a fad, but my client's results proved me wrong
For months, I kept seeing those silicone scalp massagers everywhere and thought they were just another gimmick. A regular client of mine with fine, oily hair bought one on a whim and used it for two weeks before her color appointment. When she came in, her scalp was noticeably less flaky and her roots felt cleaner, even though she hadn't changed her shampoo. She said it helped her product buildup so much she could go an extra day between washes. I'm honestly surprised a simple $8 tool made that much of a difference. Has anyone else tried these with their clients, and what shampoo do you pair it with for the best clean?

You mentioning that $8 tool made me laugh. I spent like forty bucks on some fancy electric scalp thing that just buzzed really loud and died after a month. Should have just gotten the cheap one. My wife uses one of those scrubbers with a basic clarifying shampoo once a week and swears by it.

That electric one sounds rough, grant_dixon. My cheap scrubber still works fine.

Forty bucks for a loud, dead gadget is the most relatable tech story ever. My sister fell for the same electric one and now just uses the handle of her hairbrush. I'm grabbing one of those scrubbers next time I'm at the store.
