I was dead wrong about cheap hair clippers until I spent $180 on a pair

For years I used those $40 clippers from the drugstore and thought they were fine. Then I grabbed a decent pair of Wahl clippers after a stylist friend told me I was being a fool. The difference was NIGHT and day. They cut cleaner, didn't pull hair, and the blades stayed sharp for months instead of weeks. I spent $180 total and it saved me from having to redo cuts all the time. Now my clients leave happier and I'm not fighting with the tool every second. Has anyone else had a similar wake up call with a tool they cheaped out on?

That's exactly how it went for me with paint sprayers. I fought with a cheap HVLP for two years before dropping real money on a Graco and it cut my job time in half. Sometimes you just have to pay the price to stop fighting your tools every single day.

Bet that cheap one cost you way more in wasted time and materials than you saved upfront though.

Read a forum thread where a guy tested both and the cheap one died after three rooms.
