I was skeptical about those bonding hair masks until I tried one on a client with bleach damage
Had a client come in last week with straw-like hair from over-bleaching. Tried Olaplex for the first time after swearing it was overhyped, and her hair felt completely different after just one treatment. Anyone else had a product surprise you like that?

Yeah "straw-like" is exactly how I'd describe it, Olaplex is the real deal for that kind of damage. Just make sure you don't leave it on too long or it'll dry out the hair again.

Oh please, I've left Olaplex on for way longer than recommended plenty of times and my hair turned out fine. It really depends on how damaged your hair is to begin with, not just a one-size-fits-all rule. I think people overcomplicate it honestly, just use common sense with timing.
