Spent 45 minutes untangling a perm rod caddy that only had 12 rods in it
I figured organizing my perm rod caddy would take maybe 5 minutes before my client showed up last Tuesday, but somehow all 12 rods got knotted together in a way that defied physics. After literally 45 minutes of sweating and swearing, I finally got them separated using a tail comb and way too much patience. Has anyone else dealt with a tool that took an absurd amount of time to fix when it should have been simple?

Untangling a perm rod caddy that only had 12 rods" - I honestly felt that in my soul lol. I read somewhere that the first perm rods were actually just wooden sticks wrapped in cloth, so at least we don't have to deal with that mess anymore. But yeah, I had a similar thing happen with my roller set clips last month. I left them all jumbled in a drawer and it took me like half an hour to pick them apart one by one, basically just sat there listening to my client complain about her ex the whole time.

Gotta disagree @harperp24, untangling those rods is still a nightmare even if they're not wooden sticks.
