That whole bond repair thing is real I guess

Always thought bond repair products were just marketing fluff. Then my stylist showed me the before and after photos from a client with bleach damage in Tulsa. The difference in porosity readings was like 40% after three treatments. Has anyone else seen actual lab results on these things?

Gotta call BS on that, honestly. Those "before and after" pics are from the same lighting tricks apps, not real science. Porosity meters aren't even consistent between readings, so a 40% drop could just be user error or a different spot on the same strand.

Wait did you say they're not even making the same measurements twice?

porosity meters aren't even consistent" - that's exactly WHY a big drop means something.
