Update: I just hit 500 balayage clients in my book

I always thought that number was for huge salons, but seeing it in my own schedule made me realize how much my technique has spread. Anyone else surprised by a client count that felt impossible before?

Feels like a weird thing to focus on. The hair thing is just a detail in a bigger story about people being lonely. He's totally missing the point.

Right?! It's wild how people are SO open with strangers now. I saw a video where a guy just started handing out free hugs in a park and a line formed. We're all just walking around waiting for a tiny bit of human connection, I guess.

Yeah, "waiting for a tiny bit of human connection" is exactly it. I saw that free hugs video too and it honestly made me kinda sad but also happy for them. @daniel_cooper34 probably thinks its weird but I think most people are just desperate for any kind of positive touch or interaction, you know? Like, I remember one time I was at a bus stop and this older lady just started telling me her whole life story out of nowhere. I didn't even know her name but she was just so hungry for someone to listen. Its like we're all walking around in these little bubbles and any chance to pop them feels huge.
