Bought a $40 backup notebook for writing prompts, saved my whole month

I usually do all my idea drafting on my phone, but last week the screen cracked on day one of a road trip through Ohio. So I grabbed a cheap spiral notebook at a gas station for like $40 total with a pen, and honestly it was the best writing tool I've had in ages. I wrote out 12 prompt ideas in the passenger seat while my buddy drove, ones I'd been chewing on for weeks. The physical act of scribbling made me stop second-guessing every line. Has anyone else ditched their device for a paper pad when brainstorming prompts, or am I just getting old? lol

Ha! I was all about my tablet for notes until I tried a paper pad on a whim, now I'm hooked. There's something about pen and paper that just makes the ideas flow without me overthinking every tiny word.
