I spent 2 years writing prompts at 6am because some blog said morning brains are best
Turns out my best stuff came from a 20 minute bus ride in the afternoon with a cheap notebook, not a 5am alarm and cold coffee. Last Tuesday I wrote three pages of a desert diner scene on the 4:15 in Chicago and couldn't do half that at dawn all week. Anyone else find their real writing window was nothing like the one the gurus push?
