Remember when writing prompts were just a sentence on a library card?
My entire outline for a sci-fi story got corrupted when my old laptop died during a power outage at the Denver library last winter. I had to rebuild it from memory and a few scribbled notes, which actually made the plot way stronger. Anyone else have a tech disaster that accidentally improved their work?

Corrupted outline" sounds like a stretch, honestly.

Look at the actual data from the last city council meeting. The so called corruption is just a policy change about zoning approvals. People are calling it a crisis but it's really just paperwork moving slower than usual. I've seen this happen before where a simple delay gets turned into a huge scandal. It feels like everyone wants there to be a bigger story than what's really there. We should wait for the full report before jumping to conclusions.

Paperwork moving slower than usual" is a classic. Next they'll tell us the trash piling up is just a "temporary collection delay" and not that the truck broke down. I've seen this movie, and the report always comes out after the election.
