TIL a bizarre writing prompt trend at my park
Our community board started posting daily prompts, and yesterday's was 'describe a world where clouds are solid'. A kid tried to climb a tree to touch one, which was pretty funny. It got me thinking about how prompts can spark real-life silliness.

Ruby804 said community activities might blend creative writing with basic physics lessons. Is that something the board plans for, or does it just happen when kids get curious lol

Prompts that make clouds solid in stories can push kids to test nature's rules. The climbing incident shows imagination needing a reality check. Community activities might blend creative writing with basic physics lessons.

Totally get that lol, my niece once heard a prompt about floating furniture and immediately tried to stack cushions to make a chair levitate. It's wild how those simple ideas can make kids want to experiment right away. Those community boards are accidentally running the best science labs.

Maybe the prompts should come with a tiny safety warning. That kid climbing a tree proves imagination can get ahead of common sense pretty fast. Do the people running the board ever worry about that?
