Went to a write-in at a diner in Akron and got 11 pages out of one prompt about a lost glove
I went to a Tuesday night write-in at a diner in Akron last fall, mostly for the pie. The host passed out index cards with one word on them and mine said glove. I wrote 11 pages without stopping, way more than I ever get from staring at a blank doc at home. Something about a crummy booth and strangers scribbling next to me just unlocked it. Now I keep a stack of index cards with random words on my desk. What weird prompt trick actually gets you writing?
