Dropped $80 on that AI voice clone tool - half my friends fell for it, half caught it instantly

I paid for a cheap voice cloning app to prank my group chat, and only 3 out of 6 people realized it was fake after hearing a voicemail from 'me.' The other 3 swore it was real until I sent them the raw clip. Do you think these tools are getting too good to spot, or am I just friends with bad listeners?

wait, only "3 out of 6" thought it was real? bro that means the other half caught it. thats not bad listening, thats actually pretty decent. with how good AI voices are getting, i'd expect way more people to fall for it. honestly i'm shocked you only fooled 3 people and not like 5 or all 6. voice clone tech is scary good right now but people are also getting better at spotting it.
