Just realized how much easier it was to spot a fake before they got good with the eyes
I was watching a supposed leaked clip from a movie set in Atlanta last month, and the actor's left eye just didn't blink in sync with the right one during a quick head turn. I spent an hour checking the source and found the original footage was from a completely different interview. What's the weirdest tiny detail that's tipped you off to a fake recently?

That Atlanta clip sounds exactly like the stuff I see on Twitter. Honestly, the weirdest tell for me lately has been background noise. I watched a "secret recording" from a tech conference last week, and the crowd murmur was just a perfect 10-second loop on repeat. Once you hear that robotic pattern, you can't unhear it. It's crazy how much work goes into faking something so small.

Right, the audio loops are a dead giveaway once you notice them.

Texture on synthetic materials gets me every time. Fake leather or cheap nylon in a "luxury" product video never folds or creases right, it just looks stiff and plastic. You can spot a knockoff from a mile away once you know what real material movement looks like.
