My uncle tried to tell me a deep fake of himself was real, but he forgot his own coffee order
Last week my uncle Bob sent me a video of himself giving a speech about investing in crypto. He was SO proud of it until I pointed out the guy in the video ordered a black coffee with two sugars at our last family brunch. Bob ALWAYS gets a latte with oat milk and gets MAD if they mess it up. He stared at me for a full minute and then said, "Oh no, they got my coffee wrong in the simulation." Has anyone else caught a deep fake by noticing a tiny detail the real person would NEVER do?

Got a buddy who got fooled by one where the guy wore his watch on the wrong wrist.

Got a deep fake of myself once where I was supposedly playing guitar. I can barely play a single chord without my fingers getting lost. The guy in the video nailed the solo but my hands looked like they belonged to someone who actually practices. Meanwhile I'm over here butchering "Wonderwall" for the hundredth time. That's how you know it's fake - if I'm making music that sounds good you know something's up. Still I guess we're all just waiting to see which detail trips us up. Mine would probably be that I'd let a door slam in my own face.
