Showerthought: fakes almost always mess up how a person blinks during a hard laugh
I run a small movie club here in Tulsa and last month a guy dropped a clip of a famous actor saying something wild into our group chat. I slowed it down to half speed on my phone and watched his eyes during the laugh, and he never fully squinted the way a real belly laugh forces you to. Turns out most face swap tools copy the mouth movement but leave the eye crinkle frozen or slightly off, so the laugh looks pasted on. Now I check the eyes first before I even look at the mouth, and it has caught 4 clips my friends swore were real. Has anyone found a clip where the blink pattern actually fooled you?
