That 2016 Obama video everyone shared? The ear shadows gave it away

Ngl I stumbled on a breakdown from a forensics channel that compared ear shadow angles against the real press conference footage from the White House archives. The difference was 4 degrees across 12 frames, how do you even catch that without software? Has anyone else started checking ear geometry as their first move?

Man, that ear trick is wild but honestly I just zoom in on the ID badge text first!

Definitely been there @lucast81, zooming in on the badge is my go to move too. But honestly I've gotten burned more than once when the photo is too blurry or the angle's off. Then I'm stuck squinting at a pixelated mess trying to match a face to a name. The ear trick is nice as a backup but it's not foolproof either, sometimes people have similar ears or the lighting messes with the shape. I usually end up doing both, badge first, then ear shape to double check if I'm still unsure. Feels like overkill but it beats calling someone by the wrong name in a meeting.
