Spotted a big beauty guru pushing a new skincare line with this super smooth before and after clip. It looked flawless, almost too perfect, and that nagged me for an hour before I finally dug in. I pulled the original brand video from 2022 and compared skin texture frame by frame, took about 3 more hours to map the lighting shifts. The jawline morphing was subtle, but their ear shape changed between shots, that was the giveaway. Now I run every sponsored video through a quick reverse search before sharing anything, even from accounts I trust. Has anyone else had a fake ad slip past their initial screen, and what tiny detail finally tipped you off?

Man that ear shape catch is genius, I never would've thought to look at that. I got fooled last year by a hair oil ad where the girl's part line kept flipping sides between cuts, took me way too long to notice. Feels dumb in hindsight but they really do bank on you just scrolling past. Good on you for putting in that work, it's honestly exhausting that we have to.
