That Tom Cruise deep fake video from last week had me fooled for a solid 10 minutes.
I noticed everyone online was praising how real it looked but nobody caught the weird light reflection in his left eye that flickered the wrong way. Turns out the AI messed up the corneal reflection pattern because it pulled the face from different lighting sources. Have any of you seen other fakes that slip up on eye reflections but still look perfect otherwise?

Yo wait did you check if the pupil dilation syncs up with the light source too?

Watch the eye trackers yourself before jumping to conclusions. I actually went back and looked at a few clips last night, and yeah, some of the dilation lagged way behind where the light was supposed to be. Like one clip had the guy staring at a dark corner but his pupils opened up like he was looking into a flashlight. Not saying the whole thing is fake, but there's enough weird inconsistencies that make me wonder if the setup was even working right. Maybe it's just me but I'd wanna see raw eye tracker data before I buy into any of this.
