Found out 40% of the guys in that 'super positive' men's group were actually in a pyramid scheme

Was poking around a thread from r/breakups where a guy posted about his life turning around after joining some brotherhood coaching group. Someone did a deep dive on the linked company registration. 40% of the top tier members had been hit with FTC complaints before. Not just one or two guys but almost half of them. How do these things keep slipping through the cracks? Has anyone else checked the background on these self help groups?

Walked away from a similar group when they started pushing "opportunities" over actual support.

Four of the guys I used to work with got sucked into an Amway type thing under the exact same "positive brotherhood" pitch, and all of them lost money before bailing. It's like these groups just repackage the same playbook under a new name every few years.

Damn, that's the real gut punch nobody talks about.
