My mother's doctor gave me a simple tip about medication schedules
I used to sort my mom's 12 daily pills into a weekly box every Sunday, but the doctor said we were missing evening doses because the box only had morning and nighttime slots. She suggested a simple 3-slot container for morning, afternoon, and evening, and it cut our missed dose rate to zero. Anyone else find a cheap organizer that actually works for multiple daily rounds of pills?

My sister found a similar issue with my dad's meds and ended up using a daily pillbox that has separate AM/PM/evening slots built in. She paid like eight bucks at the pharmacy and it's been a game changer for keeping track of everything. Really helps when you've got those middle of the day doses that always seem to slip your mind.

Middle of the day doses that always seem to slip your mind" - yeah that's me alright. I swear my brain just blanks out the second the clock hits noon. Pretty sure I've accidentally double dosed myself more times than I'd like to admit. That pillbox sounds great until you have to refill it and realize you forgot to take something three days ago. Now you're just playing a fun game of "Did I miss it or did my meds spontaneously combust?

idk, those AM/PM/evening boxes usually only have three slots but some meds need more than three daily doses.
