Switched from paper calendars to a shared app with my siblings for Mom's appointments

I used to keep a big paper calendar on my fridge with all of Mom's doctor visits, prescription refill dates, and meal delivery times. Every week I'd call or text my brother and sister to remind them what was coming up, but they'd always lose the info or double book stuff without telling me. About 4 months ago my sister found this app called CaringBridge and I figured we could try it for scheduling instead. Now we all get notifications when something changes, and my brother actually showed up on time for Mom's MRI because he saw the reminder on his phone. The biggest thing I learned was that my old method put all the mental load on me, like I was the only one who had to remember everything. Has anyone else found that a shared digital calendar makes a big difference in how your family coordinates care?

Makes a big difference when everyone's actually held accountable for the first time.

Started keeping a simple log at work - just dates and what got done on each task. Turned out to be a game changer when someone tried to blame me for a delay that was actually caused by their own team not sending over the specs on time. Pulled up my log and showed them the exact email date where I asked for the info and waited three weeks. The manager couldn't argue with it because the proof was right there in black and white. Now everyone in my group keeps their own records, and suddenly nobody's throwing around accusations without checking the facts first.
