I saw a clip of a massive warehouse fire in Detroit that supposedly happened on March 12th. People were sharing it like crazy saying it was a lithium battery plant going up. I dug into it and found the original video was actually from a 2019 chemical plant fire in China, just cropped and re-uploaded with a new date. The news channels here never even reported a fire on that day. Anyone else spot these recycled disaster clips floating around?
I dropped $200 on a top rated air purifier when the smoke got bad in August, and the air quality monitor in my living room dropped from 180 to 15 in an hour flat but a buddy of mine said the whole thing is just placebo and the HEPA filter might be fake since it's the same brand that got sued last year for lying about their ratings has anyone else tested their purifier against a real sensor?
Back in early 2020 they told everyone not to wear masks, then flipped hard a few months later. Was that just a supply chain move to save N95s for hospitals or a straight up lie that cost lives? What's your take on that whole debacle?
