I tried to make a reversible jacket and the zipper nearly broke me
The idea was simple: a bomber jacket that flips inside out to show a different color and pattern. I thought the hardest part would be the lining, but no, it was the stupid separating zipper. I spent 4 hours trying to get a single, two-way zipper to work on both sides of the fabric so it would function when reversed. I must have ripped the stitching out and re-sewn it 8 times before I got the alignment right. My sewing table looked like a zipper graveyard. Has anyone else found a better method for reversible outerwear closures, or is this just a known nightmare?

My sewing machine owes me a therapist.

I read somewhere that tension issues in sewing machines cause like 90% of the frustration, but honestly I think it's more like 100% after dealing with mine this weekend.
