How does heavy fabric even work for a cowl neck? That style needs to slump and drape. Are you telling me yours isn't standing straight up like a rigid tube? I picture it holding its shape on the floor, like one of those foam pool noodles. That just seems so wrong for a soft, slouchy look.

Oh wow, that reminds me of this time I bought a super thick linen curtain (it was on sale, of course). It just hung there like a stiff board, no flow at all. The fabric was so heavy it would barely fold up for storage. I ended up using it as a picnic blanket because it was so hard to handle.

But is there a weight where it stops being fabric and just becomes building material? Like those heavy fabrics might work for a structured coat but fail at anything soft. Then you're just wearing a tent.
