PSA: My design got totally wrecked at the Portland indie market last weekend
I was selling my new reversible linen jackets at the Saturday market, and a sudden downpour soaked my entire display for about 15 minutes. The water made the natural dyes on three pieces bleed and run together, creating a muddy mess. Has anyone found a truly waterproof sealant for plant-based dyes that doesn't make the fabric stiff?

Ugh, have you tried beeswax? It's natural and surprisingly water-resistant.

Honestly, that kind of weather damage is just part of the deal with outdoor markets. Maybe the real issue is using dyes that can't handle a little rain in the first place.
