Spent $300 on a fabric cutting machine and it's been a total nightmare

I saved up for months to buy this specific automated fabric cutter for my home studio. It was supposed to speed up my pattern work by hours. The thing jams on anything thicker than basic cotton, and the customer support line just puts you on hold forever. I've wasted more material on test cuts than the machine is worth at this point. It's been sitting in the corner for six weeks while I go back to my old shears. Has anyone found a reliable brand for small-scale cutting that won't break the bank?

Did you check if the blade is just dull?

Dull? That thing is practically a butter knife. It couldn't cut warm bread. I tried slicing a tomato yesterday and ended up with a crushed mess. Honestly, it's a safety hazard at this point.

Seriously, I read dull knives cause more accidents!
