Swapped my usual chain link for welded wire on a job in Phoenix and I'm not going back
A buddy convinced me welded wire holds up way better against kids climbing and dogs digging, and after seeing how clean it looked on his ranch I gave it a shot, has anyone else switched materials and regretted it later?

Have you actually tried bending welded wire back with pliers though?

Have you ever had to fix a section of welded wire after a kid bends it out of shape? I see that stuff buckle and never go back right, whereas chain link you can usually just bend back with a pair of pliers. Plus if you ever need to pull a section out to run a new line or fix a sprinkler, welded wire is a nightmare to work with... I've cussed it out more times than I can count.

You're telling me you've never had to cut out a busted section of welded wire and weave in a new piece with those little wire ties that always seem to stab your fingers? That alone makes me want to throw the whole roll in a dumpster. Chain link you can at least unzip a section and pop it back in without sacrificing a pint of blood. So what's the breaking point where you just say forget it and rip it all out? Or do you keep a special pair of gloves just for that mess?
