That 'self-leveling' post mix I used on a sloped yard sank 2 inches after the first rain
Lost $60 in materials and 3 days of labor because the bag claimed it would hold on a 5% grade and it just washed down the hill like soup, has anyone else had better luck with a different brand on slopes?

Brother @davis.olivia nailed it with the stakes idea, that's the only way. These mixes just aren't meant for holding a slope without something physical to stop them.

3 days of work just washing down the hill like that is brutal. I had a similar thing happen with a different brand on a 4% slope behind my garage. It was like pouring pancake batter on a slanted table, just slid right off. I ended up having to dig a trench and put in some pressure treated wood stakes to hold it in place before trying a heavy duty mix. That sinking 2 inches after one rain would make me want to demand a refund from the store. Did you try contacting the manufacturer at all?
